EXPERIENCED COUNSEL FOR YOUR PROPERTY, BUSINESS, AND FAMILY

Jayson O. Taylor
Principal
Jayson Taylor is a seasoned attorney working on property matters, civil litigation and trusts and estates. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jayson grew up in Crown Heights and attended Brooklyn Technical High School. Jayson began his legal career in 1996 as an associate in a boutique real estate and estate planning law firm in Manhattan after earning his bachelors from Boston College and his law degree at UC Law San Francisco.
In 1998, he went on to work with the US State Department and international multilateral organizations as a property rights lawyer in the Middle East, Caucuses, and the former Yugoslavia. During his years abroad he fought to restore property rights of those displaced by armed conflict, establish succession rights to real property, and secure restitution of confiscated bank accounts and real property.
In 2014, he re-established New York City as his base serving as general counsel for a family-founded real estate firm. He has helped clients resolve landlord tenant disputes, buy and sell business assets, and plan for the future of their families and businesses. Jayson’s practice focuses on commercial real estate and estate planning, including conveyancing, financing, business succession, trust administration and litigation.
